    • 1

Position pre-wrap. Secure the ankle and foot with the pre-wrap.

    • 2

Anchor. Wrap a layer of athletic tape around the top of the ankle and around the arch of the foot. This will create an anchor for further support as well as hold the pre-wrap down securely.

    • 3

Tape. On both sides of the ankle, adhere a strip of athletic tape from the anchor at the top of the ankle to the underside of the foot.

    • 4

Create a horseshoe. With the athletic tape, adhere a strip from one side of the anchor at the foot's arch, to the other side. The horseshoe shape will help to stabilize the heel.

    • 5

Repeat. To maximize the stability of the ankle, repeat Steps 3 and 4 as many times as needed

Tips & Warnings

  • When removing the tape support, use a pair of scissors to carefully cut through the tape and the pre-wrap along the side of the foot and ankle.
