1
Fold each of the sheets of card stock in half lengthwise. If you are using the blank greeting cards, skip this step and Step 2 and 3.
-
2
Cut the card stock in half along the fold. You will now have twenty-four sheets of card stock the same size as greeting cards.
-
-
3
Fold each of the twenty-four sheets in half again to have your own blank greeting cards.
-
4
Ask the honoree if her baby is to be a boy or a girl to determine which colors you should use on the baby shower cards. Use blue shades for a boy and pink shades for a girl. If the baby's gender is unclear you could decorate the cards in pale yellow or green.
-
5
Glue one picture of the honoree to either the front or the inside of each of the cards. You could write with the markers: "Help (your friend's name) to celebrate her new baby!" next to the picture.
-
6
Use the glue to add glitter and ribbon bits to the front and inside of the card. Add the stickers where desired.
-
7
On the inside of the baby shower card, write the location, date, and time of the baby shower. You also might want to include RSVP so that you can know how many guests you will have at the baby shower. A separate sheet of paper with directions to the party and the stores where the parents to be have registered on the baby gift registry can be included.
