If you like the playful scent of Pink Sugar lotion, but do not want to pay the price for it, then you need to know how easy it is to make. All you need are a few supplies, a work area and a little time. Make some for yourself, your family or a friend. This would make a great gift.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Glass or stainless-steel mixing bowl Rubber spatula 16 8-ounce lotion bottles 1 lb. lotion base, unscented Pink Sugar fragrance FD&C red water-based dye Eyedropper Labels Funnel

    Directions

  1. Step 1

Search online distributors for supplies---they are best place to find them. You can find the Pink Sugar scent at most online distributors that specialize in soap-making supplies.

  2. Step 2

Pour the unscented lotion base into a glass or stainless-steel mixing bowl, making sure you get all of it out.

  3. Step 3

Add 2 to 3 ounces of the Pink Sugar fragrance to the base. If you want a stronger scent, add more.

  4. Step 4

Add red dye. You most likely will not find a pink dye, so you will have to use red; three to four drops should do. Add them one at a time, stirring continuously with a spatula. Keep adding dye until you get the desired shade of pink.

  5. Step 5

Make sure you have blended the lotion, dye and fragrance thoroughly.

  6. Step 6

Use the funnel to add the lotion into clean, dry lotion bottles. Mark your labels with the scent name and attach them to each bottle.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be sure to store the lotion in a cool, dry place. It will keep longer.
