On Christmas Day 2007, my boyfriend and I decided to get married on the eighth anniversary of our first date---February 29, 2008, which meant we had about sixty days to plan a wedding. People thought we were crazy, but we managed to put together our perfect wedding. So, if you find yourself planning a wedding in 60 days, take a deep breath and relax. it can be done.

Instructions

1. Be flexible. Your dream location, dress, or vendor just might not be available. Move on to option two and don't dwell on it.

2. Buy your dress and any other wedding attire as soon as possible. Dresses can take six to eight weeks for delivery and usually require alteration. Be prepared to pay more for alterations if they need to be done quickly.

3. Consider making your own wedding invitations. You should send out your invitations about six weeks prior to the wedding, and a lot of formal invitations take six weeks to arrive. So you may not have time to wait for formal invitations.

4. Use websites such as theknot.com or weddingchannel.com to find vendors, get ideas, and order favors.

5. Go with your first instinct. You do not have time to be indecisive. If your first idea for a bouquet is cut tulips, go with cut tulips.

6. Ask for help when you need it.

7. Have fun. After all, you are planning your wedding.
