As kids many of us were always trying to find a way to make "spy gear" and have cool gadgets and weapons like James Bond. One such weapon was the pen gun, which was quick to make and was quite powerful, considering it was made out of an old pen.

How to Make a Pen Gun in 2 Mins

  1. Step 1

Disassemble a pen---the type of pen doesn't particularly matter---just be sure that both ends of the pen are removable so that the shaft may be completely hollowed out. You should not throw the contents of the pen away, nor should you throw away the end cap. The ink cartridge and the end are both needed.

  2. Step 2

Stick the straight pin through the end cap of the pin and pull it through. Next, stick the straight pin through a small piece of paper and finally, break off a small piece of the eraser and push the pin through it, until it is flush with the paper. This will be the pen gun's dart.

  3. Step 3

Ball up and moisten a piece of paper that is about the same width as the pen shaft and stick it into the shaft of the pen. Place the end cap dart into the other end of the pen, but do not push it in all the way; One half of the cap should remain visible.

  4. Step 4

Jam the ink cartridge into the end of the gun containing the paper ball. The pressure built up in the shaft will cause the dart explode off the shaft.

Tips & Warnings
  • This device is simple to make, but it is still a weapon and can cause serious harm. DO NOT aim this weapon at any living thing.
