This is to outline methods to delete your browsing information from your computer for the latest versions of Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Firefox/ Internet Explorer/ Safari
  • Computer
  • Internet
  1. Step 1

    Whichever Browser you have the first step is common.

    Open your Browser Window.

  2. Step 2

    For Internet Explorer 8:
    ~ Click ' Tools ' in the toolbar on the top.
    ~ Click Internet Options. It should open up another window (internet Options)
    ~ Under the General tab, click Delete (in the Browsing History sub tab).
    ~ It asks you what exactly you want to delete. The safest would be delete everything. Check what you want to delete.
    ~ Click Delete.
    ~ Click OK
    ~ Repeat how ever often.

  3. Step 3

    For Firefox 3.0:
    ~ Click Tools
    ~ Click ' Clear Private Data '
    ~ Check what ever you want (deleting the cookies is comparatively more safer)
    ~ Click ' Clear Private Data Now '
    ~ Repeat how ever often you want

  4. Step 4

    For Safari:
    ~ Go to the History Menu.
    ~ Click Clear History at the bottom of the menu.
    ~ Repeat how ever often you require.

Tips & Warnings
  • Try to delete cookies as many malicious websites try to distribute tracker cookies that log your personal browsing info like the sites that you visit or your e-mail address'.
  • Deleting cookies or password forms will make the computer forget automatic login options for such thing like e-mail accounts and such.
