  1. Step 1

Collecting quilting books is one of my favorite things to do but quilt books can be so expensive. Did you know you can buy great newer and older out of print quilting books on ebay and half.com for over 90% off of retail prices? Ebay and half.com are free for buyers and signing up is easy and only takes a few minutes. If you have never looked for quilting books on ebay or half.com then you owe it to yourself to check it out!

Here's some useful tips for buy quilting books on ebay and half.com:

  2. Step 2

    * BOOK CONDITION: Both ebay and half.com sellers are required to list the condition of the books have listed for sale. Books are available in all conditions both new and used. The majority of books are in like new condition. You will find books in all conditions.

If you have allergies or are sensitive to smoke or pets then you should make sure anything you are biding or buying comes from a smoke free and pet free home.

If you have any questions about the condition of the book be sure to ask the seller before bidding.

  3. Step 3

    * SHIPPING COSTS: Some sellers offer a flat shipping rate and other sellers used calculated shipping costs. Before biding or purchasing anything, check what the shipping charges will be and which ways the seller is willing to ship. If you are wanting your book fast then you need to make sure the selling is willing to ship Priority Mail. If you are wanting cheap shipping then you will want shipping with Media mail which takes longer to get but is the cheapest way to ship books.

  4. Step 4

    * SELLER FEEDBACK and EXPERIENCE: Always check out the sellers feedback before bidding. A sellers feedback is the number found next to the the sellers name. Click on this number and you will see recent feedback from both buyers and sellers. I only buy from sellers that have selling experience and have at least 20 positive feedbacks.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you want to get the lowest price possible compare both ebay and half.com prices before making your purchase.
  • Before bidding check with a seller if they are willing to combine shipping costs if you plan on buying more than one thing from the seller. Most sellers are more than happy to combine shipping costs but its always a good idea to confirm before bidding.
  • Don't get caught up in a bidding frenzy unless its for a hard to find, out of print or one of a kind item. Chances are the item already is listed by another seller or soon will be.
