   Update your website several times a week with valuable information that will keep your visitors wanting to return. In addition, updating your website content keeps the search engines happy. Stagnant sites are likely to get dropped.

   Provide an “opt in” opportunity for visitors. Give them something free as an incentive. This enables you to write to them by email and invite your visitors back. Consider how many times you check your bookmarks versus your email. So where do you want to be with your customers? In their email, of course.

   Consider adding a free download once a week (or even once a month). This will keep visitors coming back. You can even notify them by email that the download is available. This is especially valuable to Adsense monitized sites.

   Be sure to list your privacy policy so that visitors know they can optin to your site updates and not worry that their email information will be sold.
