I am going to show you how to write an affirmation. It is not hard, but you need to know what you want it to mean and say. Here is how to write an affirmation.

  1. Step 1

    Always make your affirmation positive. This is no place for negativity. Do not let any negativity into you affirmation. It is a place for positivity only. Negativity is not how to write an affirmation.

  2. Step 2

    Figure out exactly what you want your affirmation to be about. Is it about money, or love, maybe it is about your family or work. It is best to write an affirmation about one part of you life. This will make it more focused and specific to the change you want. Keep it brief and focused.

  3. Step 3

    The next part of how to write an affirmation is to make sure you can visualize the affirmation. By this I mean it is something that is not too abstract, the end result of the affirmation will be a tangible goal. Visualizing your goal while when you write affirmation is a good idea. Make sure they match.

  4. Step 4

    Say your affirmation everyday, at least once a day. More often is helpful. Start off the day saying it out loud. Say it with your eyes closed and with your goals pictured in your mind. It is good to know how to write an affirmation, but it is worthless if you don't actually use it.

  5. Step 5

    Make several different affirmations. One for each change or each goal you are working on. Do not overwhelm yourself though. Keep it under 4 if possible. This is how to write an affirmation.
