Summer is on its way and specials for various excursions are rolling in. This is the time to be making plans for those special summer get together's. Whether you are thinking family reunion or playing Volley ball at the beach. Start to planning for your summer fun now.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A few phone numbers, and your computer. If you prefer, pen and paper will do just fine.
  1. Step 1

Consider staying at a well kept economy hotel using a weekly rate. This is a great way to save and kitchen facilities are available at quite a few of the hotels. Don't rule out trips close to home they can be a lot of fun and generally a little less expensive.

  2. Step 2

Pack a picnic basket lunch for your day out. Pack cold beverages this will save on restaurants and give you more time to take in activities.

  3. Step 3

Buy your excursion tickets before you leave home at a discount rate. Check out the superstores, sometimes the service desk has discount tickets to various popular excursions.

Tips & Warnings
  • Search for discounts on bread wrappers, inside the boxes of popular products. Check with your church members or PTA group. There is always one person who knows where all the discounts are. NETWORK for a cheaper but fun vacation.

on 5/21/2009 Great tips, especially about packing your own food. Out food is expensive and takes a bite out of your spending money. Subway or even local supermarkets have great deals on subs that can be shared.
