How to Keep those Cookies Fresher ... Longer
The secret to keeping cookies moist and better tasting for long periods of time is simple: freeze them. Freezing keeps most foods, including cookies, fresh because it stops all chemical processes. Microorganisms that cause food to spoil can't grow in a freezer. As long as you keep your freezer at a constant temperature of zero degrees Celsius or lower, your cookies will retain their texture, taste and flavor, says the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Does this Spark an idea?
