Things You'll Need:
-
Step 1
Take a tiny lesson in chemistry and clean your hair the simple way. With an acid and a base. Any kind of acid will do but I use Apple Cider Vinegar, it seems to be the hair friendliest. It leaves hair silky and smooth with curls being bouncy, shiny, and naturally separated.
Two ounces of Apple Cider Vinegar is all you'll need in a cup or two of semi cold water. Once every three days maybe. Depending on how your hair feels. -
Step 2
Sodium Bicarbonate..IE..Baking Soda. Simple as that..household baking soda will clean your hair better than any shampoo ever made.
Two tablespoons Baking Soda in about two cups of water. Once every one to two weeks.
The Baking Soda rinse is almost like real shampoo...it suds up a little and immediately softens your hair while cleansing. You can tell immediately how much better it feels. When done your hair feels bouncy, soft and light. Only once every two weeks is recommended but you can vary according to your individual needs. -
Step 3
Rinse hair with Apple Cider Vinegar immediately following the baking soda. Use cool water and run the vinegar and water mixture over the scalp saturating the hair completely. Rinse the vinegar out with cool water.
-
Step 4
Final clue to the Rescue your Hair mission. Cool water! Never use HOT water on your hair, or hot anything for that matter. Cool water closes the cuticle on the scalp and smooths down the scales along the hair shaft.
Always rinse in COOL water. Not freezing cold, just enough to smooth your hair.
