If you have kids you may be overrun with stuffed animals. Often stuffed animals are received as gifts and they are never played with or used. Here are a few places that may accept donations of stuffed animals.

  1. Step 1

    Check with the local police department. Police and highway patrol officers will often keep stuffed animals in the trunk of their vehicle to give to children who have been involved in a car accident. Ask for the qualifications stuffed animals they will accept for donation.

  2. Step 2

    Animal shelters also accept donations of stuffed animals. They put the stuffed animals in cages as companions for the animals that are caged and lonely.

  3. Step 3

    Another place to try to donate stuffed animals is Freecycle.com. Freecycle is a place where you can post things you are trying to get rid of but don't want to throw away because they are still of good use.

  4. Step 4

    Other places you can try to donate stuffed animals is Goodwill, DAV, churhes or a women's shelter.
