If you've gotten yourself in an embarrassing situation, you may be looking for a way to get rid of a hickey. You don't want to go around looking like a vampire got on you. It's not that hard to get rid of a hickey in no time if you know what to do.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Apply ice to the hickey. Do this as soon as you notice that it is there and the chances that it will go away will be much greater. Use the ice as long as you can take it.

  2. Step 2

Gently massage the area with the bristles of a toothbrush. This will get the blood flowing in that area.

  3. Step 3

Place a wet spoon in the freezer for about 30 minutes. Take out the spoon and rub it back and forth across the hickey for about 20 minutes.

  4. Step 4

If all else fails, either pretend you have a curling iron burn or cover it with concealer.
