The first thing you want to do when considering a singles cruise is to make sure you know what kind of cruise it is. It doesn't really matter if it's in the Bahamas or the Caribbean. All that really matters is that you know what kind of singles are going to be on the cruise. You can pick from Christian, Seniors, 20-30's, Latin, Black, or even nudist cruises. The last thing you want to do is get on a ship only to find out that everyone is completely naked, and you think to yourself, "I thought this was a Christian Cruise". So definitely investigate the kind of singles cruise you want to take.

  2. Step 2

Now it's time to book the cruise. You will probably want to go with a few friends. Most singles do. You may be able to get a discount on cruise line tickets if you are going with a group. Try a few different singles cruise lines and get a few prices. Singlecruise.com specialize in singles cruises, and there are others that offer singles packages.

  3. Step 3

Before you book your cruise, decide on how long you want to be on a ship with a bunch of singles. Your first reaction may be, well 7 or 10 days would be great! Well not so fast. If you are looking to take a singles cruise to have a good time, a longer cruise may not be ideal. Remember, you will be on the same ship with the same people for 10 days. It is hard to avoid awkward moments when you know that the person you met is on the same ship with you for 10 days. On the other hand, if you meet the man of your dreams, it will be hard for you to part after only 4 days.

  4. Step 4

Now that you have booked your cruise, it is time to start thinking about what you want out of the cruise. This sounds like a corny Dr. Phil special but, you really should ask yourself what you want to achieve by taking a singles cruise. Are you wanting a serious relationship or just want to have a good time? Thinking about this beforehand may keep you from making repeat mistakes you have made in the past. After all, a singles cruise is meant for one thing, meeting and hooking up with other singles.
