How to Make Cookie Party Favors
Taking prepared cookies and decorating them with melted chocolate is an easy way to make a party favor or an unusual dessert item to serve at a party. You can even order fortune cookies with customized fortunes to make your favors really stand out. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- Fortune cookies
- Chocolate chips (white and/or milk chocolate)
- Saucepans
- Cake decorator sprinkles
- Wax paper
- Party favor bags
- Ribbon

Put two saucepans on the stove on low heat. Place the white chocolate and milk chocolate chips in separate pots. Stir the chocolate to ensure it completely melts in each pot.

Dip the center of each fortune cookie into the chocolate so that about half the cookie is covered with chocolate.

Dip the chocolate-covered fortune cookies into the sprinkles. Or make personalized favors by manually placing edible decorations in the chocolate in the shape of the first initial of each person’s name.

Place the dipped fortune cookie party favors on wax paper and allow the chocolate to set.

Wrap cookies in party favor bags and tie with a bow.
