Try to plan out your answers in advance to common interview questions that your employer will probably ask. Almost all employers will ask you to tell them about yourself. They may also ask you to name your greatest strength and weakness. Having preprepared answers is crucial for acing an interview and will help you come across as poised and prepared. Another common question interviewers may ask is, "Why should we hire you?"

4
Make sure you get seven to eight hours of sleep the night before your interview. This will help you stay alert and help you think quickly when your interviewer asks you questions.
-
5
Set your alarm clock earlier than you usually do to give yourself ample time to get ready to leave, especially if your interview is early in the morning. Being late for a job interview is one of the biggest mistakes you can make.

Arrive for your interview 10 and 15 minutes early. Wait for your interviewer to call you in and when she does, greet her with a firm handshake. Listen carefully to your interviewer's questions and respond to each question in detail. Maintain eye contact when you speak to show that you're interested.

At the end of your interview, thank your interviewer for the opportunity and tell her that you're looking forward to hearing from her soon. Consider sending a thank you email when you get home if you have her email address.

Tips & Warnings
Show enthusiasm during your interview. Enthusiasm is a trait that most employers look upon favorably because it shows that an individual is passionate about the mission of the company. Always bring extra copies of your resume. Consider having someone else read your resume and proofread it for you.
Never chew gum during an interview and avoid smoking the day of your interview. Never say the word "um" when you're thinking of a response to the question your interviewer is asking you. Instead, pause for a few seconds and think of a response. This will help you come across as calm, cool and collected instead of nervous.
