Step 1
Eat More Often - Perhaps the fastest way to lose belly fat is to turn your body into a well-oiled machine. To do this, it is essential that you eat smaller meals, more often during the day. Eating five to six meals helps to prevent you from overeating and can actually boost your metabolism.
-
Step 2
Change Your Diet - Eating more often is only half the trick. If you eat out at fast-food restaurants five times a day, I can guarantee that you will not lose fat. What you need to do is to eat foods with more protein and less fat. Eat foods such as brown rice, vegetables, egg whites and chicken breasts. After a few days your body will not even miss the sugar.
-
Step 3
HIIT Yourself - High Intensity Interval Training is crucial in helping you to get rid of belly fat. With HIIT training, you alternate high intensity exercise, such as running, with a moderate intensity exercise, like walking. The great thing about this type of training is that you only need to do 15 - 20 minutes every other day to see incredible results.
HIIT training has been proven to burn belly fat at a rate of 8 to 9 times greater than that of low-to-medium training programs. -
Step 4
Drink Water As A Part of Your Belly Fat Diet - Your liver play an important part in the metabolism of fat. Without sufficient water they do not function as effectively as they should. Drinking plenty of water ensures that you remain adequately hydrated and keeps your body's organs working properly.

on 5/5/2009 Great article - I am a devotee of the HIIT and Water steps for sure - never heard it called HIIT, but interval training is best for improving one's heart health as well, so I will "step it up" or HIIT it up and get my belly down now!
