March 9,2008 is National napping day! Here are some ways to celebrate

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • pajama pants
  • pillow or stuffed animal
  • blanket
  • movies
  • lunchable(so you don't have to do much cooking)
  1. Step 1

Skip work today. Be a lazy as possible. You want to make yourself good and tired so you can nap. Have the sleep themed movies in the DVD player and the lunchable (or any other easy to make food) near you so you don't have to get up.

  2. Step 2

If you have kids make a play date or ask in laws to watch them. Use the "I have to run errands excuse". Then you can put on you Pajama pants, put the pillow and blanket on the couch and take a 20 minute siesta here and there. If you can't ditch the kids, make them play out side and wear them out so you can nap while they are napping.

  3. Step 3

If you are stuck at work, nap in your car during lunch. Or you can wear your nightgown or shirt under your work clothes. Make the day as boring as possible so you can nap as soon as you get off work.

Tips & Warnings
  • napping 10 minutes can really boost your energy
  • napping and driving is not advised
  • do not nap while your kids are awake unless they are older.
