Without a credit score, it's practically impossible to get a car loan or home loan. And if you plan to finance anything in the near future, you'll need to establish a credit history and maintain a good credit score.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Get a car loan. Car loans are available to persons without a credit history or credit score. However, you should anticipate a high interest rate. On a positive note, a car loan can help you establish a credit history. And by paying the note every month (on time), you'll gradually increase your credit score.

  2. Step 2

Apply for a secured credit card. Often times, getting a credit card without a credit score is difficult. Yet, several banks and other private lenders offer secured credit cards to people without a credit history.

  3. Step 3

Put your name on someone's credit account. If you want to get a credit score fast, ask a reliable friend or relative to add your name to one of their accounts. You'll become an authorized user, and the person's account will appear on your credit report.
