Nokia N95 is one of the top mobile phones out in the market right now. It features great quality and functions almost un-matched by its rivals. A broken LCD could cause much headache and some pain in your wallet. Here is a tutorial on how to change broken LCD for nokia n95.

Things You'll Need:

  • New LCD set
  • Philipps Screwdriver
  • Flat head tool
  1. Step 1

    First thing to do is to strip off all accessories including battery, battery cover, memory cards and Sim cards.

  2. Step 2

    To Change broken LCD for nokia n95, you need to pull the slider down after you've taken off all accessories and remove the two screws you see at the bottom of your phone's slider.

  3. Step 3

    Push the slider up and remove another two screws you see at the top corners of your phone.

    Remove the front cover by using a soft edged object such as a credit card to unclip it from the rest of the phone.

  5. Step 5

    After you've removed the front cover, the upper keypad should be loose as well. This is the part where you navigate the phone and not the numeric part. Using your finger, flip the upper keypad and you can see a ribbon which connects your LCD to your phone.

  6. Step 6

    Remove the ribbon by flipping back the metal hinge and pulling the screen back.

  7. Step 7

    Pull the broken LCD upwards and change with the new LCD. Reconnect the broken ribbon and do the above steps backwards to return your phone to its original state with the new LCD.

  • Use an expired credit card
  • Cut the Credit card in half
  • Have a steady hand.
  • Careful in all movements.
