Things You'll Need:
- printer
- cardstock (thicker paper)
- clear contact paper or laminator
- stickers
-
Step 1
This is what your table will look like in the beginning.Open a new document in Microsoft Word. On the tool bar, click Table > Insert > Table. Choose 4 columns and 3 rows and click OK.
-
Step 2
The table will grow to fit your images.Find copyright free images, free clipart or your own photos. Right click an image and choose "copy."
-
Step 3
Return to your word document. Place your cursor in any box in the table. Right click and click "paste." This should place the image in the table. Hit return and type a description under the image. You can adjust the font, size, and boldness with the toolbar.
-
Step 4
Fill all the boxes with different things to find. Some ideas: Flying bird, bird singing, turtle, tree stump, rock, moss growing on a tree, leaf falling, creek, squirrel, insect.....
-
Step 5
Create another table the same size and fill with different images. This will be the back of your bingo card.
-
Step 6
Print one table on thicker paper like cardstock. Flip the paper over and print the other table on the back.
-
Step 7
Laminate or cover with clear contact paper on both sides. This will protect it and make it last longer!
-
Step 8
Buy a sheet of small stickers to use to mark which bingo objects are seen. My kids love sticking the stickers on the squares. You can also use an erasable marker to write on the card, but I find this messier for little kids. Stickers are much more fun! And easy to remove when you're done.
-
Step 9
To make the card more portable, I punch a hole in one corner and put an old key ring through it. Then we can attach it to a backpack or belt.
