Attend all the free practice test events hosted by your local test prep businesses. Kaplan, Princeton Review, Test Masters, and many other business offer free LSAT practice exams a couple of months before the national exam date. Take advantage!

The LSAC (maker of the LSAT) offers of free practice test. The free LSAT is an actual exam administered one or two years ago. They also have sample questions with full explanations.

The LSAC also sells addition tests from earlier administrations. If you are studying with a group of friends, each member of your LSAT study group can buy a test and you can pool your resources. This is much cheaper than having to spend $10-$20 for individual exams.

Ask current law students if they have still have their practice material. If you don't mind having additional LSAT work books and tests with some writing, you can get a ton of additional practice material.

In recent years there has been an explosion in the number of Online LSAT prep companies. Most of them offer potential customers a free online practice test or demo test. Some of these demos are just the free LSAC test, others are composite practice tests make of questions from different exams. Even if you are wary of using an online prep service from a company you have never heard of before, you should take advantage of the free tests.
