Things You'll Need:
- Understanding of what you want to accomplish.
- A deadline for when to have it completed.
- Help is always appreciated.
-
Step 1
Have a game plan - One can go into an event haphazardly, but will have a smaller chance for success than if a little planning had taken place. Sit down before the dreaded day to decide the most important areas to clean. Then figure what supplies you might need that you may not already have. This will save frustration, and time.
-
Step 2
Be sensible - Rome wasn't built in a day, and your house want be clean in an hour. Set sensible time frames to give plenty of time. Completing the cleaning in a day would be nice, but you may want to consider breaking the cleaning up into several days. This will allow for rest and want make everyone to tired. Taking fifteen minute breaks for lemonade and a cookie to increase moral as well. Then no one will look like the lady in the picture.
-
Step 3
Be rewarding - Having help is a big bonus. Be rewarding of this help, this will increase chances of help the next go around and make everyone feel a little better for having to endure this cleaning war. It doesn't have to be much, just find a little something for everyone; and chances are that if you've got help they are friends or family and finding something they like should be easy.
