Dry you own seeds and plant them.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Watermelon and cantaloupe, Fertilizer,garden soil,water.
  1. Step 1

Alot of people dont realize this but you can get a watermelon or cantaloupe, just to name a couple, and pull the seeds out of them, clean them and dry them in the sun for a few days and plant them.

  2. Step 2

First you have to prepare your garden. I dig mine about shovel deep, and this is the best part,I get on my hands and knees and pull out all or most of the rocks and roots. I like to play in the dirt! So this is fun to me. Then add your fertilizer and garden soil.

  3. Step 3

Then make some raised rows so that you have an irrigation route for you when you water. Plant your seeds about 2 inches apart.when you run your water it should soak only the bottoms of your raised rows until you have some plants growing,or the seeds will get washed away.

Tips & Warnings
  • Remember to add nutients once in a while. I'm from Phoenix so I always made sure to make my garden where it did not get full sun all day, but if you live where it's not so hot you might want full sunlight.
  • Watch for pests, and be careful what you use for pesticides.
