Instructions

    • 1

Research the Candy Bouquet opportunity by visiting the company's website. While you are there, request an information package, which can be sent to you free of charge.

    • 2

Visit another Candy Bouquet franchise location or call other owners to get their opinions. Since you may have never seen their creations before, you should take the time to talk to those who are already doing it before you commit to make sure that it's right for you.

    • 3

Fill out an application online. You'll need to provide information about your finances, work history, availability for training and other personal information. You'll also need to send a $15 non-refundable application fee.

    • 4

Review and sign the Uniform Franchise Disclosure document. You should have this looked over by an attorney as it will become a legal contract when you sign it and you will be obligated to fulfill your agreement to the company.

    • 5

Choose your territory. Unlike many franchises, where you pay royalties, Candy Bouquet charges based on the size of the protected territory that you choose. If you don't have a lot of money to start, you can purchase a smaller territory and then extend it later as you have more capital. When you choose your territory, you'll have to send a 25 percent deposit to hold the area. The cost of a territory starts at $2,500 and goes up depending on its size.

    • 6

Set up a time to attend training. Once that you have been approved, you'll need to attend the company's training. The training takes place in Little Rock, Arkansas, and lasts for one week.

    • 7

It's time to purchase your starter packet, which will provide you with all the candy and supplies that you need to get started. This starter packet costs $3,500. You can also purchase additional supplies while you are at training.

    • 8

Start marketing your new Candy Bouquet business. The company will assist you with marketing efforts, but you'll need to either find a location or start working from your home.
