  • nice calming atmosphere
  1. Step 1

Welcome home new mom now it's time for feedings. Boy your gonna love the 2am and so on and so on. Well it's all good anyway. Your baby is a blessing and you will do anything for her. that is giving her the best milk that has been given for years .

  2. Step 2

First, you will want to have a good happy atmosphere . A good atmosphere works well with your milk flow . You can sit in that nice recliner that you have . That will be really beneficial for you and baby
You can use a pillow which will help keep baby near to you and puts less strain on you . You can also buy a boppy at your favorite department store. A boppy is a special pillow that fits around you and is really helpful in breastfeeding. You will enjoy it.

  3. Step 3

One position that most moms do is the cradle hold. You sit upright and place your baby on her side across your lap, facing you. Then there is the football hold you will tuck your baby under your arm ,hold her head and neck in your hand let her feet extend towards your back

  4. Step 4

Now that you have mastered that you have the side-lying position. This is where you lay on your side with your baby facing you. Position your baby's head at your lower breast . The benefit of this postition is many hospitals recommend that you do this one if you had a c-section. Well there you have it. I hope these postions will help the breastfeeding mom
good luck and enjoy feeding your little one.

Tips & Warnings

  • when doing the side-lying postion make sure that you don't fall asleep make sure you have someone there with you if you decide to nod off it is very easy to suffocate a baby
