This article will help teach you how to use the cabbage soup diet as a supplemental diet plan to help break through those annoying diet plateaus. So read on to learn more about the cabbage soup diet plan, which has worked great for me as a way to break through those annoying weight loss plateaus.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Cabbage soup diet plan
  • A good spice rack
  • Proper groceries for this one week negative calorie foods diet
  1. Step 1

Find the full 7 day eating plan for the cabbage soup diet online. There are a lot of websites that have this, and then print it out. While the cabbage soup is something you can eat every day, as much as you want, follow the rest of the eating plan as closely as possible.

  2. Step 2

Have a great spice rack. The cabbage diet soup can be very bland if you don't season it up, especially after seven straight days. Use garlic powder, garlic salt, white pepper, red pepper, salt, black pepper, oregano, Cajun seasoning or whatever trips your trigger. Season the broth to your taste.

  3. Step 3

Follow the plan exact. The cabbage soup diet has parts of high fiber, low fat, low carb, negative calorie, and calorie cycling diets all bound into a one week eating plan. Cheating on even one day can screw up the entire process.

  4. Step 4

Don't deny yourself. When the plan says to eat as much fruit as you want, don't hold back. Same with veggies. If you try cutting back during the cabbage soup diet you will probably end up with headaches and low energy. Trust that the eating plan will work.

  5. Step 5

Only try the cabbage soup diet for one week at a time. This is a seven day diet, and not a permanent eating plan. Use it to break through weight loss plateaus and on other weeks have a balanced and reasonable eating plan to loss weight and keep it off over the long term.

Tips & Warnings
  • Season the soup heavily, and when making a second batch try a different "style" of soup. The variety makes the soup more appealing.
  • Don't make this a full time eating plan. It's meant as a one week diet and that's it.
