Instructions

    • 1

      Go to the main menu by pushing the 'Menu" key. The menu key is located to the left of the trackball and has several dots on the key.

      Using the trackball, select the icon labeled "Manage Connections." It appears to be an Internet tower with signal waves going to the left and right.

      Select "Set Up Wi-Fi Network." You will see several choices including "Scan for Network." Select that option.

      View the list if Wi-Fi networks available. If it is a public network, simply highlight the network and select it. If it is a secure network, the Bold will ask you to enter the password.

      Select your preferred network and allow your BlackBerry Bold to connect to the Wi-Fi feed.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you are not in the proximity of a Wi-Fi network or don't want to use Wi-Fi, turn the Wi-Fi off to extend your battery life.
