Things You'll Need:
- One Blackberry Bold
- WiFi connection

Step 1
Go to the main menu by pushing the menu key. Menu key is located to the left of the trackball and has several dots on the key.

Step 2
Using trackball, select the icon labeled Manage Connections. It appears to be a internet tower with signal waves going to left and right.

Step 3
Select set up Wi-Fi network. You will see several choices including scan for network. Select that option.

Step 4
The Bold will list all the Wi-Fi networks available. If it is a public network, simply highlight the network and select it. If it is a secure network, the Bold will ask you to enter the password.

Step 5
Once you select network, your Bold will be connected to Wi-Fi. Enjoy the fast internet browsing.

on 8/6/2009 You have to have a data plan if you want to use the Blackberry applications. You can use wi fi only if you install third party applications.
