How to Make Awesome Waffles

Who doesn't like waffles? Whether you go to Ihop, Denny's, or your favorite diner, a waffle is a staple breakfast food that is cheap, yet also amazingly delicious.

Waffles are very similar to pancakes in taste, yet the shape and texture is quite different. Waffles are more fun for kids, and are also easy to add condiments to.

Things You'll Need

• Pancake mix
• Waffle Maker
• Non Stick Spray
• Water
• Vanilla Ice Cream
• Whipped Cream
• Cherries
• Mixing bowl

Instructions

1. First, take your pancake mix out.

   Pour 2 cup of pancake mix into a mixing bowl. Add roughly 1.5 cups of water to the mix. Mix thoroughly. If the mixture seems light, add some more pancake mix. If it seems heavy, add some more water.

   Turn on your waffle maker and let it heat up.

2. When the waffle maker is hot, spray some non-stick spray onto it.

   Next, pour the batter / mixture onto the waffle maker until the squares are sufficiently filled.

   Let the waffles cook until they are ready. Most waffle makers have a built in timer now-a-days.

3. When the waffles are ready, take them off the waffle maker and put them onto a plate.

   Take out your vanilla ice cream, and place two scoops onto the waffles.

   Add some whipped cream and top them off with a cherry.

   Serve them to the kids for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
