Wrap a School Book With a Paper Bag

Covering school books can help to keep them in better condition longer. This will also give the kids something besides the desk to doodle on! Here I will show you how to reuse a paper bag to cover a book.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Paper bag
  • Book
  • Scissors may be needed
  1. Step 1

    Unwrap/cut open the paper bag.

  2. Step 2

Lay the book spine on the paper. Fold the paper lengthwise on one side.

  3. Step 3

Lay the book down on the paper and fold the other side lengthwise to the size of the book.

  4. Step 4

Align the book spine to the center of the paper.

  5. Step 5

Fold the first flap of paper over the back cover of the book. The paper now has been folded into a sort of envelope. Now you can slide the back cover of the book into the envelope.

  6. Step 6

Fold the other flap over the front cover of the book and tuck the cover into the envelope.

  7. Step 7

You are done. Now you can write the name of the book on the front and spine for easy access.

    This is great for doodling!

Tips & Warnings
  • You may need to use scissors if the bag is too big.

on 3/31/2009 We use to do this on our school books and have our friends sign them or we'd draw on them or put stickers on them. It was fun to do something different to each book. 5*
