Sometimes the only way to get a good night sleep is to get your partner to stop snoring. To prevent snoring you need to counteract the causes of snoring. Here are some easy tips to get your partner to stop snoring.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Prevent snoring by opening up the airway. Sleep on a thick, or multiple pillows to stop snoring.

  2. Step 2

    Prevent snoring by avoiding milk and other dairy products. Avoiding the mucus buildup from consuming dairy products is a great way to stop snoring.

  3. Step 3

    Prevent snoring by losing weight. Losing weight can open up space in the airway, another great (and healthy) way to stop snoring.

  4. Step 4

    Prevent snoring by sleeping on your side. Sleeping on your back compresses the airway, sleeping on your side opens up the airway and is the easiest way to stop snoring.

  5. Step 5

    Prevent snoring with honey. Take a teaspoon of honey before going to sleep. This is an easy way to stop snoring.

  6. Step 6

    Prevent snoring by avoiding alcohol and medicines. Avoiding alcohol, tranquilizers or cold medicines is a way to prevent the throat muscles from relaxing and a good way to stop snoring.

  7. Step 7

    If all else fails, try using an anti-snoring nasal spray or other anti-snoring products, you may have to experiment to find the best way to prevent snoring.
