How to Load Any Website in Firefox Sidebar

Make the most of your Internet experience and save heaps of time by loading web apps and other mobile sites directly into your Firefox sidebar while reading any web page in Firefox.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Internet Connection
  • Firefox Browser
  1. Step 1

    From a PC, open your favorite website and press 'Control + D' (ensuring you are holding down the control key as you press D). This is a keyboard shortcut to bookmark the URL you are currently viewing.

  2. Step 2

    After you save the bookmark, press 'Control + B' to instantly open your Firefox Sidebar. Alternatively, you can select the 'Bookmark' option atop the browser for a drop down menu to appear.

  3. Step 3

    Right-click on the bookmark and proceed to choose the properties option located at the bottom of the menu.

  4. Step 4

    Now check the box that says 'Load this bookmark in the sidebar'.

  5. Step 5

    The next time you click that bookmark in your menu it will open in the sidebar while you can simultaneously view the rest of the world wide web!
