Step 1
Ingredients: 1 roll Pillsbury refrigerated sugar cookies
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup green sugar -
Step 2
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl break up cookie dough. Now you will want to stir or knead in your flour. Make sure it is well blended. Take half of your dough and refrigerate. You only want to work with half at a time. Now shape dough into seventy balls (approximately 3/4 inch) putting seven balls to the side for later. Now roll each of the remaining balls into the sugar. Now you are going to form each shamrock. Placing two balls together with sides touching and placing 1 ball on top. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
-
Step 3
Now you will make the stem for the cookie. Divide each reserved ball into three pieces. Roll each piece in to a ball and then roll into the green sugar. Now take these pieces and make a triangle. Then take the triangle; pointed side up, and place at the bottom of each cookie.
-
Step 4
Place in the oven for approximately 10 to 12 minutes. Remove cookies from oven and let cool 1 minute; before removing and placing on cooling rack. Let cool completely, approximately fifteen minutes.
