Spring Break is something that most college students look forward to all year, especially, if your University is located in the middle of no-where upstate. Make sure to plan your Spring Break getaway well in advance, and get ready for the time of your life.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Before you leave, there are several things that you should do that will help ensure that you have an awesome Spring Break. When you are packing, make sure to bring enough clothing since you will most likely not have access to a laundry facility, but not too much, as most planes now charge you money if you go over their weight limit in terms of suitcases.

Set aside money into your checking account. You should try to figure out how much you want to spend in advance, and try to stick to that budget. With buying drinks, souvenirs, and the like, you can very easily spend twice as much as you planned on spending. Be smart about your money.

  2. Step 2

Once you are on Spring Break, try to set up some sort of guesstimated schedule. This schedule doesn't have to be exact, but should just be a guideline. Remember, you only have a few days in this tropical paradise, whether you are at Miami, Daytona Beach, Aruba, Cancun, or wherever. Make sure you allot yourself enough time to see all of the sights, beaches, bars, and other night life hot-spots.

In the short term, try to follow a daily schedule, meaning try to wake up by 10am. This might seem early, but it'll be worth it since most likely you'll take naps on the beach. You want to enjoy the sun while it's out. By 4pm head back to the hotel, shower, and get ready for dinner. Have some drinks before dinner to start the night off well.

Go to dinner by 7. Make sure to eat a nice amount of food since you will probably be drinking later. After dinner, walk around for a while, and then hit up that bar that everyone is talking about. Try to make it until 4am.

  3. Step 3

Towards the end of your Spring Break, you should have everything down to a science. Try to see as much as you can while you are away, and have as much fun as possible. Remember, in less than a week, you are going to be back in sub-freezing temperatures, and snow storms, so soak up the sun while you have it!
