These sausage snacks are perfect for party appetizers, after school munches, and Super Bowl celebrations. Easy to make in minutes!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage (one pre-packaged roll)
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar
  • 1 package Won Ton wraps
  • 1 tblsp. dried onions
  • 2 tblsp. bottled ranch dressing (any brand or style)
  • 2 muffin tins
  1. Step 1

Crumble and fry the sausage -- add the dried onion and cook until completely done. Let cool for a moment.

  2. Step 2

Grate one cup each Monterey Jack and cheddar (or use pre-grated if you prefer) and combine with two tablespoons of ranch dressing (low fat ranch is fine or additional touches like bacon ranch flavored taste great in the mixture). Add the sausage and onion and stir.

  3. Step 3

Fold six Won Ton sheets into fourths and tear at the folded lines. Put each fourth a separate cup in the muffin pan, forming two dozen little cups. Bake for five minutes.

  4. Step 4

Remove Won Ton wraps from oven and add a teaspoon of the cheese and sausage mixture to each one (more if there's filling left over afterwards). Place in the oven again and bake for an additional five minutes.

  5. Step 5

Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes. If they feel slightly greasy from the cheese, place paper towels beneath them for a moment to soak up any extra moisture. Then serve them up on a platter and enjoy!

Tips & Warnings
  • Add extra cheese to create extra filling for each cup if you prefer.
  • Try other combinations of cheese and filling -- such as bacon and swiss, or mushrooms and mozzarella.
  • Spice it up with a little diced green pepper or onions.
