I like to listen to music if I have had a stressful day. Music has always been know to relax the mind and body.
Whatever type of music you like it can help reduce stress and make you relax. Light music like classical and smooth rhythms are well known to help the body relieve stress and even body pains.Soft music focuses the brain away from stress and makes you relax.Music itself is so soothing it can wash away the troubles of the day and focus on relaxing and meditation.You can light some scented candles in lavender it is known as a relaxing scent. -

I like to listen to the sounds of wildlife ,creeks and streams anything to do with water is great.Some of my favorite music to relax to is Chinese or oriental flute music,its great to drift off to sleep listening to this type of music.Remember to breath deep and relax, stress is a killer and its not good in your life.By listening to soft music and burning some candle or incense it helps to relaxed your brain.It is well know that deep breathing will release small amounts of serotonin which will help you relax.Combined with the music and scented candles this should help you sleep and feel less stressed.

What type of meditation music is best its up to you to decide.If you like nature then the sounds of "Desert Scapes","The Storm""Country Stream",relaxation and meditation Cd's are good to listen to.My son came back from China and brought me a 6 CD set of flute with mandolin type music(not sure if that the name of the oriental string instrument) and its great to relax to.
