Things You'll Need:
- wd-40
- open ended wrench
- small block of wood.
-
Step 1
you will need to tilt your mower on its side. make sure you tip it so that the side with the air-filter faces up. this will keep the oil in its place.
-
Step 2
place a wood block in a corner to stop the blade from moving. now loosen the bolt ( or bolts) from the blade. in my experience there is either one or three bolts. once it is off, clean the area to ensure it is free from dirt and rust.
-
Step 3
install new blade. make sure it faces the same way the old one did. tighten the bolts firmly. remember to keep your blade sharp. a good sharp blade is better for your mower and grass.
while you are at it, you should change the spark plug and air filter.
