Santa Barbara Mission*For those of you who enjoy a taste of history, Santa Barbara has one of California's 10th oldest missions built by Spaniards in 1786. This mission's beautiful buildings are infused with Greek inspired architecture. Find out why this mission has been commonly referred to as "Queen of the Missions."
* For art buffs Santa Barbara has an exquisite Museum of Art showcasing an array of art dated back to the early 19th century French and English artists, including an eclectic range of ancient Asian art.
* If you are traveling with children, Santa Barbara has a beautiful beach side Zoo. The santa Barbara Zoo exhibits a range of beautiful and exotic animals, including bird and giraffe feeding centers.
*Educate your children some more, and visit The Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History. Here people of all ages can enjoy live exhibits and hands on learning. -

* For those of you visiting or simply passing by, Downtown State Street is a must see. This is where the heart of Santa Barbara lies. Shopping along State Street offers a variety of indoor and outdoor shops, vendors, and once a week farmers market. From upscale boutiques to outdoor eateries, State Street has got it all.
* If you are more of a night owl, State Street presents an excellent night life; late night candle lit dinners, pubs with live music, bars, and clubs are just walking distances apart from one another. -

*Last, Santa Barbara offers a great variety of wine tasting tours at some of most beautiful wineries and vineyards in Southern California. Find out why it has been dubbed "Wine Country"
