Instructions

    • 1

Cut piece of scrapbooking paper 12 inches long by 4 ½ inches wide and a piece of contrasting colored paper 4 ½ inches long by 2 inches wide.

    • 2

Use scalloped edge punch on short end of scrapbook paper and long end of contrasting colored paper to make edging design.

    • 3

Glue contrasting piece on the back of the scrapbook paper with both scalloped edges on the same end, allowing a small bit of the contrasting piece to show, creating a decorative edge on the front side of your purse invitation.

    • 4

Measure 2 1/2 inches from the scalloped edge and 6 inches from the bottom edge of your purse invitation and score your invitation. Scoring refers to the crease created by running your scoring blade across your scrapbook paper with the guide of a ruler. This gives you a guide where to fold your invitation.

    • 5

Punch a hole on each side of invitation behind the 2 1/2 inch score.

    • 6

Cut piece of ribbon 6 inches long. Place ends of ribbon inside punched holes with ends facing back side of invitation. Secure using glue or double-sided tape.

    • 7

Take a piece of plain paper 4 ½ by 5 inches in size and write or print your invitation details, such as date, time, place and contact information. Glue inside your purse invitation.

    • 8

Use a flower punch to punch out a flower shape in colored paper of your choice.

    • 9

Punch hole in center of paper flower and center of front purse invitation flap.

    • 10

Align holes and attach flower to front flap using a brad.
