This is an article on how to avoid scammers on the internet

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • common sense
  • a computer
  • more common sense
  1. Step 1

Congratulations you are the one hundredth reader. You have won a trip to the peanut gallery or as I would say, the cheap seats. Every day, there are lots of people who get tricked into thinking they have won something. It is only human nature that we all want to win. We all want to hit the big one. The benefits of winnings has many rewards. But the truth is we all can't win.

  2. Step 2

I have put in several ads in a local online list to help out parents by watching their children. The only response that I have received so far are scammers. They want me to give them my personal information and they want to send me a check. STOP!!! If you are giving your personal information out over an unsecured media, like the internet. Please stop!!!

  3. Step 3

What do you think is going to happen? They will send you a check? Yep, you are correct. You will get your check. But BEWARE!!! The trick is, you will have already put the check into your account. You will send the scammers the remaining amount and you guessed it!!! The bank will make you responsible after the check overdrafts. Which by the way, will happen. So please use caution when using the internet! All the scammers need is one sucker. Together we can BAN THE SCAM!!!

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't give out personal information when surfing the internet.
  • If an email says you won, just put it in your garbage folder.
  • If the email is from another country, just delete it. It may be spam.
  • Let's all use the internet in a safe and smart way.
