How to Do Red & White Magic Spells

Magic spells are intoned by various groups of believers, including voodoo and Wiccan practitioners. Red and white magic spells have different purposes. Each type of spell requires different chants and different materials, such as candles. White magic spells call for healing, protection and other positive results. White magic's less humble cousin, red magic, calls upon powers of coercion to enhance romantic attraction by drawing a lover to you or to excite libido.

Instructions

Spell of the Shell

1. 

   Perform the "Spell of the Shell" during a waxing moon for gaining something and a waning moon for dissolution issues. You must live near an ocean or body of water where you can find shells.

2. 

   Find a shell in shallow water and dry it.

3. 

   Put a washable symbol of your wish (such as healing or purification) on the shell.

4. Put the shell on the shore where a wave will wash it out to sea. Encompass it with a hand-drawn triangle, facing upward. Write any relevant words on the shell or inside the triangle on the sand.

5. Speak the words of enchantment (toward the moon): "Goddess of moon, earth and the sea, each wish in thy name must come to be. Powers and forces which tides do make, now summon thy waves, my spell to take" (cited from Lucky Mojo in Resources).

6. Leave the area. You have cast the spell. The waves will take your spell to the Old Ones. This is a lunar spell and can take 7 to 28 days to manifest.

Protection From the Evil Eye

1. Protect against the Evil Eye with White spells. Illness can be transmitted, unwittingly, by jealousy or envy. The cure for this ancient and cross-cultural symptom is easy.

2. Pass an egg over the afflicted one's face, or give the victim three mouthfuls of water.

3. Dispose of the egg or water in a shady place.

Love Spell

1. Cast a Red spell with the "White Candle Love Spell" to draw an intended one. Make an altar with important items.

2. Use a white rose bush thorn to write "All my love come to me" three times into the white candle.

3. Place the candle in the center of the altar, and watch it until it burns all the way down. Imagine your love coming to you, naked and lovely.

4. Collect the wax once the candle is finished, and wrap it with the items on the altar. Keep it safe. However much love comes to you, express gratitude because it is "all the love" you deserved.
