A charm bracelet is the perfect way to showcase special charms or beads that you love. A charm bracelet can also be an attractive way to combine a selection of charms or beads into a fashionable and unique piece of jewelry that is sure to receive compliments each time you wear it.

Use a chain that is already made and simply attach your beads or charms to the links of the chain. Here are instructions for completing a charm bracelet.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Tape measure Chain (6 to 8 mm links) Approximately 15 beads or charms 1 closure clasp Eye pins for the beads Needle-nose pliers Round-nose pliers Wire cutters
  1. Step 1

Measure around your wrist for a bracelet size that will be comfortable but will not be too loose. With the wire cutters, cut the chain to this length.

  2. Step 2

Lay out the beads and charms into an arrangement that you like.

  3. Step 3

Thread an eye pin through each bead that you will be using. Cut the part of the eye pin that extends out from the top of the bead to a length of 3/8 inch.

  4. Step 4

Use the round-nose pliers to create a loop from the extending length of eye pin at the top of the bead. Do not completely close the loop yet. Make a loop like this on each bead that you will be using.

  5. Step 5

Begin attaching the charms and the beads onto the links of the chain in the arrangement that you created in Step 2. Close each loop from the beads or the charms around the links of the chain with the needle-nose pliers. Make sure each loop is closed completely.

  6. Step 6

Attach one half of the closure clasp to one end of the chain with the needle nose pliers. Attach the other half of the closure clasp to the other end of the chain.
