How to Use a Free Registry Cleaner

Instructions

1. Download the freeware registry cleaner and save it to your desktop (see Resources below).

2. Double-click the downloaded program to start installation. Follow all onscreen directions.

3. Double-click the program icon to bring up the registry cleaner.

4. Click the icon on the left, the one that says "registry."

5. Click the button that says "scan for issues." Once done, click the button for "fix selected issues." Your registry will now be cleaned.

Tips & Warnings

• Ccleaner will save a backup that you can restore if errors occur after cleaning.
