Double-click the hard disk icon on your desktop to open the "Finder window." Click on "Applications" and "iTunes" to open the iTunes window.

Scroll and select the audio file you want to convert in the "iTunes" window. The audio file can be of any format -- for example: aiff, wav, mp3, FLAC, or mp3.

Press "Ctrl-click" on the audio file name to open the "Context menu" and select "Get Info." The "Get Info" window is now open.

Click "Media Kind" in the drop-down box and choose "Audiobook". Click on the "OK" button to automatically convert the audio file to the Audiobook format.
