Lay the bandanna out on a flat surface. Fold it into a triangle by joining two opposing corners---such as bottom right with top left.

Lay the broad base of the triangle parallel to your forehead with the upper tip of the triangle pointing toward your neck.

With the broad base points hanging on both sides of your face, take one in each hand and tie it in a single knot against the top of your neck.

Place the upper tip of the triangle---which is pointing toward your neck---atop the single knot between your tied corners

Grab each side of the tied corners and re-tie them twice over the upper tip of the triangle. This double knot secures the upper tip of the triangle, securing the cap.
