How to Manually Remove Malware Alarm 2.1

This article explains how to manually remove the malware alarm 2.1 from your computer. Adware, Spyware and Malware are annoying little viruses that anyone can pick up from normal activities like visiting a website or opening an email. This viruses can be very harmful to your computer and make everything run much slower. There are a couple of simple steps you can take to not only remove any of these viruses currently on your computer, but also to make sure you never pick them up again.

  Scan your computer for viruses by running your system's virus protection software, if the virus has not prevented you from opening it.

  Turn off your computer if step 1 did not work. Shutting down the computer may be prevented by the virus. So you will probably need to just press the power button to turn the computer off.

  Turn the computer back on and press F8 as soon as your computer starts to load. This should occur when the screen shows the computer brand's logo.

  Select "Start in Safe Mode" from the list of options. This will let your computer load but limit the functions you are able to use.

  Select the "Start Windows" button after your computer starts up. This is located in the lower right corner of the screen.

  Rest the mouse on the "All Programs" tab and wait for the menu to appear.

  Scroll up to "Accessories" then slide over to "System Tools" and click on "System Restore."

  Make sure "Restore My Computer to an Earlier Date" is highlighted and click "Next."

  Select a date that was prior to you contracting the Malware virus and select "Next."

  Follow all of the on screen instruction and restart your computer when it prompts you to. This will remove the virus from your computer.

Tips & Warnings

Create a restore point at least one time a week to make sure you have a point to restore to.
Restoring your computer to a prior date will not make you lose any saved files. It is always reversible.
