How to Restore Rundll32.Exe for Windows XP
Dynamic Link Library (file extension ".dll") files are part of every application on your computer and are used to store the application logic. It's impossible to manually launch such files, therefore the "Rundll32.exe" file is used to launch these files automatically. As you see, without this executable file your computer may not be working right.
If you have accidentally deleted the "Rundll32.exe" file you must locate a copy of the file in one of the Windows folders on your C: drive. Then you need to copy the file and transfer it to the correct location.

Try to attribute you C: so it can reveal hidden files and folders by following this few steps step 1. click on Start step 2. click Run step 3. type CMD then press Enter step 4. type (attrib -r -h -s /s /d c:\*.*) NB: you shouldn't make spaces after c:, Now you can press Enter After it done attributing type Exit then Enter.
