Instructions

    • 1
Measure your wrist and set out the beads.

Use the measuring tape to measure your wrist, add another inch or two to that measurement (or use the elastic line to measure around your wrist, adding some extra line to accommodate for the size of the beads). Cut the length of elastic line with scissors.

    • 2
Tape the end to the surface.

Place a small piece of tape on one end of the elastic, and secure the tape to the surface your are working on. This will keep the beads from falling off one end as you string them.

    • 3

Place your beads by laying them out on the table the way you want them on your bracelet. It is easier to set them out this way than to re-bead the bracelet over and over.

    • 4
      Fit the bracelet.

Start the beading process by placing one bead at a time onto the elastic line with smaller beads and spacers in between the larger beads. When your beads sit an inch from the end of the elastic line, wrap the bracelet around your wrist to see how it fits. If you have too many beads and the bracelet is too loose, remove unwanted beads. Be careful to hold the line tightly during this process.

    • 5

When the bracelet is long enough, take the two ends and pull them together. Remove the tape from the end after tightly knotting the ends together to secure the bracelet. Pull the beads over the end of the knot so it disappears.

Tips & Warnings

  • Vary the size, shape and color of your beads for more variety.

  • Keep beads away from small children.
