Take paid surveys. There are many companies that pay people to take surveys or try products. Some reputable paid survey companies include Mysurvey.com and Surveyclub.com. Surveys can pay anywhere from 10 cents to $10 depending on how extensive they are. It is possible to make several hundred dollars a month doing this, but it takes a lot of time.

Give plasma. If you are generally healthy and don't have any chronic illnesses, you can donate your plasma and get paid for it. You will likely need to live in or travel to a larger city to do this. According to Donatingplasma.org, there are only about 330 licensed and certified plasma collection centers in the United States. Plasma centers usually pay around $30 per donation and you can donate twice a week.

Use cash-back credit cards. If you have the financial discipline to pay off your credit card balance every month and not use the card for frivolous purchases, you can make s significant amount of money in rewards. Many cards offer at least 1 percent cash back on all purchases, and some offer additional cash back for purchases such as groceries and gas. If you use a cash-back credit card to pay for all your everyday expenses, you can make several hundred dollars a year in rewards.

Sell stuff--yours or other people's. If you haven't cleared out your storage areas in a long time, consider doing so and selling what you don't need. You can have a yard sale or sell to a pawn shop or used goods shop. If you are really adventurous and have a little money you can afford to lose, you can attempt to sell other people's stuff. Buy items at garage sales or auctions and attempt to sell it online through eBay. Depending on how much stuff you have to sell, you could make hundreds and even thousands of dollars without getting a job.

Tips & Warnings
If you are looking to take paid surveys, watch out for scams. Don't work with any company that requires you to pay a fee and be skeptical of any website that promises you that you can make $100 or more per survey. If you participate in a medical study, keep in mind that you are often taking medications that aren't FDA approved and could have unknown side effects. If you are using a credit card to buy everyday items so you can get cash back, make sure to pay your balance in full and on time every month. Late charges and finance fees will quickly eat up any cash-back earnings.
